2. Character of DMP/Dimethyl phthalate:

It is a colorless and transparent oily liquid with a slight aromatic odor. It is miscible with organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, acetone, cyclohexanone, methyl ethyl ketone, methanol, n-butanol, toluene, and is insoluble in water and petroleum ether.

3. Application of DMP/Dimethyl phthalate

 

This product is a plasticizer with strong solubility for a variety of resins.

It can be compatible with a variety of cellulose resins, natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and vinyl resins. It has good film-forming properties, adhesion and Waterproof, light and thermal stability are also high; often used in the production of cellulose acetate films, varnishes, transparent paper and molding powder in combination with diethyl phthalate, a small amount is used for nitrocellulose During production, it can also be used as a plasticizer for nitrile rubber.

This product can also be used as a solvent for mosquito repellent oil (crude oil), polyvinyl fluoride paint, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide and DDT. When used as a rubber plasticizer, it has no effect on rubber vulcanization and the product has good cold resistance.
