Lithium carbonate is an inorganic compound, the lithium salt of carbonate with the formula Li2CO3. This white salt is widely used in the processing of metal oxides.
#Usage:
1. Used in the ceramics industry as a raw material for glass and enamel.
2. Used as a base for the manufacture of other lithium compounds, in quick-set cement and lithium-ion battery cathodes of lithium cobalt oxide
Used in the preparation of various lithium compounds, lithium metals and their isotopes.
It is also used to prepare catalysts for chemical reactions.
There are also applications in the semiconductor, ceramics, television, medicine and atomic energy industries.
Used as an analytical reagent in analytical chemistry.
